My name is Alexis and I'm a Design Engineer at Microsoft.
I'm deeply creative at heart — from sewing and knitting to architecting end-to-end product flows and building
my own apps. Right now, I'm building Himmel, an iOS app that predicts sunrise and sunset
quality using machine learning trained on thousands of personal observations.
At work, I'm passionate about human-centered design, product engineering, responsible AI, accessibility, and
UX research.
Outside of work, I'm a subpar cyclist and outdoorist, craft afficionado, foodie, and big reader.
